Saturday, August 28, 2021 Cost: Only $50 round trip Bus departs: 3:30 am Macy’s in the Cross County Shopping Center, Yonkers (facing parkway) and Returns by 9:00 pm March & Rally Kick-off at 9:00 am in Washington DC and end approx. 4:00 pm Order tixs or make a donation at MOW2021.eventbrite.com (includes round trip bus & snacks) Advance ticket sales only, must be: 14 years and older Bring your own brown bag - food. Bus will make one stop on the way to DC and one stop on the way back to NY COVID Details: All passengers must show proof of vaccination, temperature checks will be taken and masks are required on the bus. Seating limited and social distancing will be in effect. (STSI) was founded in 1994 as a family group and has grown into a global network that links women of African descent to the resources that connect, advance and strengthen them. We do this through advocacy, education and the promotion of African culture. Our primary areas of focus are health & wellness, education and global affairs. Our signature activities include sponsoring a cutting-edge science, technology, engineering arts & math - STEAM Summer Camp and Academy for Black and girls of color; We facilitate a Black Women Girl Child Community Partner Initiative and sponsor Empowerment Events in the Lower Hudson Valley Region. We host United Nations events and activities for women and girls in collaboration with global community partners during annual UN Commission on the Status of Women sessions. STSI holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic Social Council (ECOSOC). STSI will celebrate 25 years of local and global activism and empowerment of women and girls of color in 2019!
