25+1 Years of GF! Come celebrate with us with a brew day in our parking lot, followed by a beer festival featuring GF Alumni! Postponed Big Brew Day | 8AM - 2PMWoot! Our homebrewing community was really hoping we would do Big Brew Day this year but, with the state of the world this past May, we decided against it. Since then, we've decided that we're going to have our big brew day on our Anniversary. We'll be hosting a Big Brew Day from 8AM to 2PM, and we'll be featuring a Porter recipe by none other than the Matron Mother herself, Anita Johnson. If you register to brew, make sure to also buy a beer festival ticket so you can continue the festivities with us! BEER FESTIVAL with GF Alumni | 3PM - 7PMThis is our 26th year in business and we've been blessed as a company by having some of the very finest brewers, vintners, recipe writers and enthusiasts in the beer community as employees. We're going to honor them by inviting all of our alumni back to this event! We've asked them to come and represent their new brewery or winery by serving our guests samples of their products from 3PM to 7PM in an Oktoberfest style setting. 6 Breweries will be on hand serving their beer as well as a local winery. We've also asked them to share their knowledge with the next generation of brewers by slapping on a name tag and talking with the homebrewers during the Big Brew Day portion of the day. Confirmed Breweries/Winery: Big Lug, Bier, Chilly Water, Pax Vernum, Mashcraft, Broad Ripple Brew Pub and Belgian Horse Winery. Food Vendors: Rusted Silo BBQ and Movable Feast Dignitaries, Celebrities and Ambassadors.Over the years, we've met some cool people. Some of those people went on to be pillars of our community. Some of them have even made a name for themselves in the brewing business itself! This is a chance to meet some of these people and even ask them a question or two. We'll have a Professor, a Grand Master Judge, and an Engineer among others on hand to answer those questions and maybe even drink a homebrew or two. Between 10AM and 1PM, we're going to open the classroom and have an informative session on all aspects of brewing with professionals who have reached the pinnacle of their fields.
