Talented jazz/improvisational drummer with many years experience looking for like-minded musicians to get together and make music. I lean toward the creative/avant-garde side of jazz but am open to most situations - standards, modern jazz, free improv, etc. I love and listen to all the obvious heavyweights - Miles, Coltrane, etc. Representative artists that are a little less straight ahead include: Ornette Coleman, John Zorn, Bill Frisell, Anthony Braxton, Eric Dolphy, Medeski Martin & Wood, William Parker.
