This free class will introduce you to starting vegetables by seed for the coming cool season. Vegetables, Round 2, Part 2!Part 1 is always good soil prep. If that soil's ready, find out all the varieties you can plant-- if you start them by seed. Don't get us wrong: transplants are great, but you'll never surpass the sheer variety you can get if you start from the beginning. Since the time to plant cool season vegetables is upon us, NHG' s Garden Advisor Brieux Turner is here to show you which ones, and where, because some are started indoors, and some out. Get an introduction to how, with products for seeding success whether it's out or in, and learn sowing techniques for the most successful crops. 20 minute presentation, with time for your questions. (And it's okay, if your soil isn't ready, we can help with that, too!) Our series of FREE, POP Up classes offer you a quick, informal way to learn about gardening right in the middle of the plants and products we're telling you about. Whether you're starting a new garden, prepping an established one or just wanting to try a cool new plant, these short, informative classes can help. THIS CLASS IS OUTDOORS. Weather permitting, the class will be at our demonstration beds. Should there be bad weather, we'll move this class inside.
