I've been in the aquarium hobby for several years now and would like to share so bounty worth new and current hobbyists! For Plants I have Amazon Swords, a few pieces of Java Fern, Valissinaria Ocelot, and a bit of Water Wisteria. I am also planning to swap some of my filter media in my canisters. For anyone new to the hobby, the beneficial bacteria which colonizes your filter media is the most important part of the aquarium. It's the foundation for your fish's health and your ease of maintenance. It's why you never "rinse" or fully replace your media (unless you have a lot and only replace some at a time as it falls apart lol). Cycled media can jump start a tank, making it ready for fish in as little as 2 days! Plants and Media are free while I have the supplies but I'll happily take donations.
