Cuba Center, voted "Best Botanical Garden" in the 2020 USA Today 10Best Reader's Choice Awards, is one of Delaware's true hidden treasures and has earned two new award titles. The Center has been honored in two categories - Best Place to Experience Nature (Upstate) and Best Creative Workshops - in Delaware Today's annual Best of Delaware contest. This month discover for yourself the wonders of Mt. Cuba whether strolling in the shaded woodlands or learning a new skill in an expert-led class. Mt. Cuba Center Coming up at the Mt. Cuba Center Twilight on the Terrace FRIDAYS, AUG 20 & SEPT 3 | 5-8 PM Unwind from the week with live music from Briz & the Revival (R&B, Aug. 20) and Conjunto Philadelphia (Cuban/Jazz, Sept. 3). Enjoy a bite to eat from local food trucks including Natalie's Fine Food, Bivouac Pizza, Albie's and Gastro Graffiti. Don't miss out on this popular summer event - only two Twilights remain! Sunset & S'mores SATURDAYS, BEGINNING SEPT 18 | 5-7 PM Bring the family out for a scenic hayride through Mt. Cuba's stunning natural lands. Arrive at a bonfire where you can kick back and relax or explore your surroundings. Enjoy fireside snacks, s'mores, and adult and family-friendly beverages while the sun sets. Advanced registration required; space is limited. Hay Bales & Brews SATURDAYS, BEGINNING SEPT 18 | 5:30-7:30 PM Don't miss this unique hayride experience through Mt. Cuba's gorgeous natural areas. Our hay wagon travels through rolling hills and grassland fields, where you'll hear about Mt. Cuba's land management, conservation efforts, and restoration projects. Arrive at a bonfire where you'll enjoy stunning vistas, tasty brews, and fireside snacks. Advanced registration required; space is limited. Participants must be ages 21 and older.
