Joseph Martirosyan - ordained minister of the gospel was born on June 21, 1975, in one of the cities of Armenia called Ararat to Christian Orthodox parents. When his mother was pregnant with him, she wanted have an abortion because she already had three girls and she thought that the fourth child would also be a girl. But the night before she was supposed to go to the doctor at the appointed time to abort the child, she had a dream in which she saw a Man walk into the room where she was waiting for the doctor to come and do the work. The Man that walked in had a bright white robe on him and he had a bright white beard and long hair, she said it was the most beautiful face she had ever seen. He sat on the bed at Joseph’s mother’s feet and said to her: “Do nothing, because the child that you will have, will be a boy.” She woke up, and her mind was completely changed, because she knew that she would have a boy. In 1981 Joseph’s family moved permanently to Russia.In 1999, Joseph moved to Stockholm, Sweden, to obtain citizenship, but the Lord had His own plan. He met Joseph there, and saved his soul. Not long after Joseph’s conversion, someone gave him a book called God’s Generals by Roberts Liardon. Even before he finished reading the book, he desired God’s power on his life. He asked the Lord to make him a servant like those who were in the book, and made to Him a promise that he would live only for Him. In 2001, on July 3, Joseph came to the United States. He started serving the Lord in a Russian church in Hollywood, California, as a keyboard player; he started playing almost “with one finger.” Joseph’s pastor was very kind to him and gave him the key to the church. He began to spend hours at the piano, and during the practice, the Lord was filling him with His Spirit. In about a year and a half, he became the worship leader in the same church. As a Christian and a minister, Joseph loved to read books about Christian workers, their biographies and works. As a result, he was inspired by the most powerful ministers and authors, such as John Bevere, Benny Hinn, Smith Wigglesworth, R.A.Torrey, Martin Luther, and John Wesley. He was also inspired by such musicians as Michael W. Smith, Terry MacAlmon and Kim Clement. In 2004, the Lord spoke to Joseph and said to come out of the congregation where he served. As he obeyed and came out, he received a vision for the ministry in which the Lord gave him a burden for the perfection of the saints and salvation of the lost souls. His calling is to be an evangelist-teacher, but the Lord also gave him a gift of a musician. He realized that the Lord wants him to create a divine atmosphere in the congregations through the music and songs. At this time, he serves in the places where the Holy Spirit leads him and opens doors for him. Joseph and his wife, Shushana, have two children, at this time live in Los Angeles, California. Joseph M.
