Act Appliance Inc is seeking an appliance repair technician in Austin, TX and surrounding areas to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. The ideal candidate is someone who works hard to meet and exceed the demands of the task at hand, organized, responsible, customer committed appliance repair technician who can take care of our customers. Here at Act Appliance, we work on (refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dryers, dishwashers, washing machines). As a 1099 contractor, we consider you as a partner not our employee, you will be a member of our growing company to assist our valued customers. Our company offer complete training for those who would like to become an appliance repair technician. Training usually takes from 2 weeks to 4 weeks if no experience. Basic Qualifications: - General experience with Refrigerators / Washers / Dryers / Microwaves preferred. - Have and maintain a valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation as well as tools/ equipment. - Must be able to pass drug screen, criminal background check, and clean driving record. Responsibilities: • Travel to customers’ home and repair appliances onsite • Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts. • Reassemble equipment after repair • Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance • Perform customer education.
