Enjoy summer in the urban oasis of Brockton Audubon Preserve and Stone Farm Conservation Area! Join volunteer hike leader Rachel Thibeault for a 4 mile hike in Brockton. Brockton Audubon Preserve and Stone Farm Conservation Area make a total of 225 acres of conserved forest right in the city, and are complete with wetland boardwalks, trailhead parking, and interpretive signage throughout. Join Rachel as she guides you through these beautiful trails that are open to the public free of charge! Sturdy boots and plenty of water are recommended. Participants must be able to hike 4 miles. No pets, please. Please meet at the Hancock Elementary School, 125 Pearl Street, no later than 9:45 am for a 10:00 am hike start. Group size is limited to 10 participants. There will be a waiting list to join when the program fills. We are following state guidelines for COVID-19. Please read rules carefully before buying your ticket: • Participants must be 12+ years of age. • Participants must register in advance. No walkups will be allowed to join. • Participants must sign the Wildlands Trust COVID-19 Liability Waiver for Outdoor Programs virtually in advance. This will be sent to you via Adobe Sign after you register. • If a participant or someone in their household is ill, has symptoms associated with COVID-19, has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, or is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, they are asked not to attend. • If a participant becomes ill within 14 days following their participation in the class, they contact should contact Stewardship Manager Erik Boyer at [email protected]. • These programs are weather permitting. A decision will be made the evening prior to the event and all participants will be contacted via the email they used to register. The Wildlands Trust works throughout Southeastern Massachusetts to conserve and permanently protect native habitats, farmland, and lands of high scenic and ecological value in order to keep our communities healthy and our residents connected to the natural world.
