The Brashear Association celebrates its membership with an annual fundraising event supporting families in S. Pittsburgh. BRAVO Brashear! Dear Friends of Brashear, The Brashear Association is excited to announce that our annual meeting and luncheon, BRAVO! Brashear will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, at the LeMont Restaurant, 1114 Grandview Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15211. After navigating through the pandemic and adapting Brashear’s programs and services to meet the new needs of our neighbors living in South Pittsburgh, we are thrilled to offer this annual celebration of our community with all of you who make our work possible. We invite you to join us for this celebration and fundraiser that will continue to support Brashear families! All event proceeds will support programs offered in Brashear’s new community center and headquarters, set to open in September. Brashear’s history of impactful social service delivery in South Pittsburgh Neighborhoods spans more than 100 years. At our new accessible, community-driven center, we are poised to continue to meet the vast needs of our clients, with your support. We hope you will also plan to join us for an optional pre-event official ribbon cutting ceremony, from 9am-11am, at The Brashear CARES Community Center, 320 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15210. This portion will include a short program, light breakfast, and tours of the building. There is a wide range of sponsorship levels to choose from and opportunities to market your company or organization to Brashear stakeholders along with other participating local businesses. Your sponsorship supports families by addressing food insecurity, and providing utility and employment assistance, and educational and enrichment programs for children and youth.
