Join us for a beautiful Cacao Ceremony & Ecstatic/Somatic Dance (Somatic dance is like a moving meditation. Enjoy a safe space for free body movement and connection with your higher self through these two powerful modalities: Ecstatic Dance is a Somatic Healing Practice that directs your focus and awareness down from your mind and into your physical body. Soma = Body, Somatic helps you to connect intentionally with your body and all the emotions stored in there. It is a therapeutic tool to heal trauma, to free the mind, and identify places in your body that needs to release stuck energy. Cacao ceremony is a personal experience, everyone has different experiences while connecting with this plant/ancestral medicine. Cacao helps you to connect with your higher self, and open up your heart to release what no longer serves you, manifest and receive what you are ready to receive. AND together with somatic dance, it will help you to work through blockages and past traumas, transform energy, and help you align with who you truly are. This ceremony will involve guided somatic movements, free movement, ecstatic dance, giving time for the Cacao to activate within the body and soul, creating transformation to experience pure joy. You do not need to have experience dancing. Somatic dance empowers people of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. It is through free movement that we free ourselves.
