JOINT TRENCH DRY UTILITY FOREMAN - IMMEDIATE HIRE Small, growing, non-union underground construction company searching for self- motivated, energetic, team player able to manage crew and run job start to finish. We specialize in joint trench dry utilities: gas, electric, CATV and telephone. Training in Dry Utilities provided for the right candidate. Duties • Minimum 2-4 years foreman experience. • Proficient with utility standards and requirements, experience in CATV, PG&E Gas & Electric, Smud, AT&T, street light systems, and concrete flat work (preferred) • Able to read and decipher Individual Utility Plans and Composites. • Operate 580 Case Backhoe, CAT skid steer, CAT mini-excavator. (Not mandatory) • Perform daily field inspection of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices. • Review daily production reports, material usage, tracking of hours worked. • Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary. Physical Requirements • Must be capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions. • Must be able to bend, squat and knee, climb ladders and scaffolding. • Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds unassisted.
