S. R. Freeman is seeking an experienced and dynamic High-End Finish Carpenter for custom residential remodeling and new construction projects. Five plus years of experience in residential construction is preferred. Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail and the ability and desire to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Our projects are throughout the greater Bay Area including San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin County, Santa Clara County. Required Skills: • Able to work with Construction Project Manager to ensure the project is ready for each day • Read and interpret construction blueprints • Ensure work performed is in accordance with plans and specifications • Complete command of finish carpentry skills • Install cabinets, and millwork. Fit and install windows, doors, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware • Knowledge of how to construct and install kitchen cabinets • Excellent communication skills • Knowledge of wood stains and finishes a plus • Knowledge of counter top installations a plus • Work at elevated heights and in confined spaces • Thoughtful, organized and professional approach to your job • Enthusiastic and energetic • Follow all CalOSHA and company safety regulations • Maintain job site security • A passion for performing quality work and delivering excellent customer service • You have some quality hand tools commonly used in Carpentry and wood working • Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record are required • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
