Job Summary: The incumbent of this position will guide, check, correct and work with a group of Custodians; train and instruct Custodians in proper use of equipment, supply materials, chemicals, and accepted custodial techniques; assist Custodians in the performance of their duties, make inspections; report equipment and repair needs; report needs for additional supplies, report absences of personnel and may assume absent Custodian’s duties; assist in the security of the area assigned; assist in the evaluation of subordinates’ performance; cooperate with administration, faculty, staff, coworkers, and students in service needs; assist with moving of furniture and equipment and in facilities arrangements for special events.
