Description

Missouri Community Forestry Council Nature and Forest Therapy Walk If you can use shedding layers of stress, join one of our Certified Nature Therapy Guides on a journey of reconnection with the natural world. Guides will lead participants in a series of sensorial invitations that open doors to the healing powers of nature. Participants often share that anxiety melts away, insights emerge, and a renewed sense of awe and wonder awakens. Nature is the Therapist. The Guide Opens the Doors. Join your ANFT Certified Guide who will lead you and fellow participants on a 1.5 hour Nature and Forest Therapy walk, slowing down your rhythm and taking you on a deep dive into sensorial nature-based experiences. This is not a hike or a naturalist excursion, but an alternate way of deepening your relationship with yourself and the more-than-human world. Return refreshed, rejuvenated and in gratitude for nature’s healing embrace. What to bring: Comfortable Shoes, weather appropriate clothing, flashlight/head lamp, insect repellant, water bottle, something to sit on, and snacks
