Press release from City of Fort Worth: August 18, 2021 A series of More Than Budgets financial workshops will be offered in the Stop Six neighborhood every Tuesday from 6-7 p.m. from Sept. 14-Oct. 12. Participants will learn strategies to save for emergencies and repair credit. If participants attend five sessions plus two individual coaching sessions, they are eligible for a dollar-for-dollar savings match, up to $200. The topics: Sept. 14: Prioritizing and Saving the More Than Budgets Way. Sept. 21: Budgeting Priorities. Sept. 28: Credit Fundamentals. Oct. 5: Know Your Credit and Debt Rights. Oct. 12: Banking Fundamentals. The workshops will be held at the Envision Center at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 5565 Truman Drive.
