Enroll In a Day Festivities at Housatonic Community College

(BRIDGEPORT, CT) – Housatonic Community College (HCC) hosts its final Enroll in a Day event on Saturday, August 21 before the fall semester begins on August 26. The event takes place in-person from 9:00 a.m. – 1 p.m. with some services requiring appointments. The events at 900 Lafayette Boulevard are aimed to streamline the registration process and enjoy on-campus festivities. STAR 99.9 will be on-site broadcasting live and free ice cream will be served from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Students can apply, obtain advising, gain financial aid assistance, tour the campus, and more. New students must bring a high school diploma and proof of immunization records. Academic placement testing is available for students arriving between 9:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m. In addition to enrollment assistance, HCC will hold a free COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in Room L108. The clinic is open to the public with no appointment necessary. The Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education (BOR) recently has set forth new COVID-19 vaccination requirements for students returning to campus this fall semester.
