Poetry Workshop with Auzelle Epeneter! Join the Newnan Carnegie Library and Art Rez artist-in-residence Auzelle Epeneter for a poetry workshop held in Greenville Street Park! *Will be held at the Newnan Carnegie Library if there is unsuitable weather for an outdoor program. Auzelle Epeneter is a poet based in Los Angeles, California. Her work takes place on the border between poetry and prose, where she explores identity, relationships, and experience. She is currently at work on her first collection. Auzelle’s writing has been published in ZYZZYVA, Passages North, Forge, the Invisible Bear, and City Works, among others. She has been a writer-in-residence at Atelier Austmarka, Dorland Mountain Arts Colony, Oregon State University’s Trillium Project, and the Wellstone Center in the Redwoods. Originally from Southern California, Auzelle has also lived in Colorado, Georgia, New York, Washington, and Singapore. The Carnegie Library is one of the most historically significant structures in downtown Newnan and was built in 1904. The building served as a library until 1987 and is now a honor system library with adult and children's programs.
