Discover sustainable design, irrigation and maintenance tips for your landscape that will reduce the time, money and resources you spend on your gardening. You will be empowered to “do it yourself” or hire others to create a water-wise use garden with cold hardy, low maintenance plantings that follow the Florida Friendly Landscape principles. Kristin and Stephen Pategas are co-owners of Hortus Oasis (www.hortusoasis.com) in Winter Park. They provide services in garden design and consultation, garden writing and photography, as well as horticultural education. Stephen is a registered landscape architect and a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Kristin is a Florida Certified Landscape Designer and a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request.
Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.
