Press release from TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce: August 17, 2021 Saturday, September 18th, 2021 ● 11:00am Building a Better Boyertown (BaBB) is thrilled to announce its 1st Annual Oktoberfest Baking Contest sponsored by King Arthur Baking Company. There will be two categories – adults will bake a black forest cake and youth will bake a butter cake. All entries must use King Arthur flour and the UPC and recipe must be presented at the tasting. Baked goods will be accepted on September 18th from 11:00-11:45am. Tasting and judging will take place at 12:00pm and prizes will be awarded immediately following. The cost is $10 for adults (15+) and $5 for youth (14 and under). Baking contest entries are due by September 8. Philadelphia Ave.   King Arthur Baking Company will provide fabulous prizes to the top 3 winners in each category. Prizes will be as follows: Adult Prizes - first place $75 gift card, second place $50 gift card, and third place $25 gift card. Youth prizes - first place $40 gift card, second place $25 gift card, and third place King Arthur Tote Bag.
