Description
ASBURY PARK, NJ – Trinity Church will be holding its third annual Jersey Shore Ride For Food Justice on Sept. 11, with a scheduled rain date of Sept. 18.
The money raised will go towards the church's Food Justice programs, including its Saturday Soup kitchen, Food Pantry, and Women's Hospitality Network.
With the safety of riders in mind, organizers are offering riders two options for this year's race. The first option is a 15, 30, or 62-mile socially distanced bike ride along the beautiful Jersey Shore that starts and ends at Trinity Church in Asbury Park.
The other option is a 15, 30, or 62-mile bike ride done on your own on the day of the ride, and you share your photos and experiences with organizers.
"If you like to ride ur bike and support social justice issues in Asbury Park, join a team or create your own team," Derek Minno Bloom, director of food justice at Trinity Church, said. "This ride is fun, builds community, and is for a good cause."
For more information on how to donate or register as a rider or team, you can head over to the ride's website.
