Description

Press release from the Chester County Library System: August 18, 2021 Mask requirements/recommendations remain a local Library Board decision and are decided upon by the Board looking at the occupancy limits, vaccination status in the community and other factors. Additionally, many children are not eligible for the vaccine at this time and we want to ensure the safety of our youngest customers where space may be limited.  Please know that restrictions will continually evolve as the science is reviewed. We rely on the professionals for guidance.    Current CDC Guidelines recommend that all individuals wear masks in public indoor settings, regardless of vaccination status, in areas of substantial or high transmission. Chester County is currently an area of substantial transmission. We continue to keep this page as up to date as possible, however as always, please check with your local library for specific restrictions before visiting.  Joseph L.
