Press release from the City of Millbrae: 08/18/2021 8:16 AM Following the Pledge of Allegiance, the Millbrae City Council presented a commendation to Assemblymember Kevin Mullin for his outstanding partnership with the City and the region. Assemblymember Mullin secured critical infrastructure funding for Millbrae, Pacifica, and Redwood City.  Two million dollars were allocated to support the reconstruction of the Millbrae Recreation Center through the Assemblymember's efforts. The City Council presented a proclamation proclaiming September 11, 2021, as Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance. The City Council presented a proclamation proclaiming September 6, 2021, as Labor Day. The City Council presented a commendation to the Millbrae Leos and the Millbrae Community Enhancement Advisory Committee. The City Council received a presentation on the Zone Haven Disaster Evacuation Planning Tool. The City Council unanimously approved, on a vote of 5-0, items 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10 on the consent calendar. Item 5 – Receive and file monthly General Fund Financial Report for the period ending June 30, 2021. Item 7 – Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an instructor contract with Daily Academic Support System (DASS) for after-school programming for the City of Millbrae Recreation Program allowing payments of up to $100,000 per year for a three-year period ending June 30, 2024.   This press release was produced by the City of Millbrae.
