Re: “Original metal band looking for female rhythm guitarist who sings” It sounds like a cool project - just for fun, here’s a reply: Hey, I’m not sure how well I sing - I’ve never considered myself a singer per se but maybe you can be the judge of that. I do rock the rhythm guitar though... especially ‘original’ metal. I find that when it’s truly original nobody can compare you to anything so they can’t say you suck. LOL You didn’t specify if your band is ‘heavy’ metal or just metal, but I’ve been playing guitar a long time and can pretty much play all the metals- steel, iron, aluminum (or aluminium if you like British metal) and a little bit of early tin, but no blues-metal or brass. And I can’t stand bluebrass. I can’t really “shred” any metal though, except foil- the cheap kind. How’s that for original? Oh, and I’m not female. I mean I am but I’m not, but I am. I think we all are a little but. You know what I mean? Don’t judge. Everything’s so fluid these days that I can only assume you mean that you are looking for someone that ‘looks’ female and can play rhythm guitar and sing original metal. Is it cool if they ‘look’ female andsing like a male? Oh well, doesn’t matter. I look like a guy anyway. But I can ‘identify‘ with whatever the gig needs. I’m a pro like dat. Anyway, if you need a guy in your band that can’t really sing or play, I’m like a boss. Sounds like maybe you have something else in mind but thought I’d check in case you end up not finding that other thing and expand your horizons. I guess since I have no skills I could also use this message to apply for the bass and drum positions as well. That’ll save a couple emails anyway and leave me more time to practice. Should I go ahead and practice singing original metal like a female or pretty much no? Oh, if you want to see me perform I have some YouTubes on my Channel. It’s from a time when I was a dog training influencer but it’s really me and not some imposter trying to bullshit you. I’m straight up like that and hate it when people bullshit me and waste my time when I’m just trying to make original female rhythm metal singings. What else? Oh, you have a PA. Can you provide a guitar too? I play 8’s for that slinky vibe and drop E tuning. Like a whole octave down E... not that wimpy D and C crap. I don’t need 7 stings either. My axe just has 4 strangs all dropped an octave.. You guys need roadies? I got a bad back but I can train the F*%# out your dogs or drive the van. If you don’t have your own van then don’t bother replying. I only roll with ballers that run shit cuz I’m a seasoned pro on my way up not sideways and I’m definitely not down with down.
