The James Perryman Trio is looking for a drummer. We are a working cover band currently playing every Thursday night at O’Dowd’s on the Plaza, as well as some other gigs around town. Right now, I (the guitarist/percussionist) trade off between playing the Cajon and playing guitar to pre-recorded loops. I would much rather have a drummer to groove with then trying to manage the guitar and a loop station. That being said, we need an experienced drummer/percussionist that doesn’t have an issue with possibly modifying their kit so it’s not super loud, or even just playing Cajon. This is gig dependent, and may not always be the case, but at least at O’Dowd’s you just can’t play go all out with a full kit. Please listen to some of our content on Facebook for reference.
