Looking to start a New Orleans style jazz/blues/swing band in the style of Tuba Skinny - Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory, King Oliver, etc, etc. We have a Stand-up Bass player, Trumpet, Trombone. We need: Banjo/Guitar/Multi-Instrumentalist to play mostly chords. Clarinet Possibly a Sax. Rhythm players - not really looking for a full drum kit, but will entertain options. Preferably Bass Drum, washboard, or some other stripped down rhythm. We are three musicians who have played in a lot of other bands on various instruments and in various styles. We are NOT experts at this type of music though... With that said - we're really excited about it! And we want someone who is excited too! I would prefer to have someone who is passionate about this music and wanting to learn and grow (and practice!) with us than a master instrumentalist...
