Jerry's is Hiring for Special Project Work at our Eugene store If you have a great attitude, strong work ethic and can follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced setting, we'd like to consider you for our special projects crew! This is a busy role requiring attention to detail, ability to take direction, and follow through. Someone who likes to see a job well done, and make a clean and organized work space will thrive in this project and with Jerry's. This special projects position should last at least 3 weeks, and would move to a store stocking team role once the project is completed. Work Schedule (may vary) 40-45 hours per week Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m. for special projects Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working with a team to sort, organize, and clean-up freight in outside storage areas Remove or recycle damaged or unusable items Prepare freight to move into the store or be relocated to the warehouse Clean up debris from all areas, and ensure safety of all stored items Follow checklists to ensure that all work is completed quickly and accurately Other duties as assigned Applicants must also meet the following criteria: Excellent attention to detail Able to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and efficiently Push, pull, lift, and carry a minimum of 55 lbs. regularly Jerry's Home Improvement Center is a drug-free work environment.
