We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to care for animals and support the veterinary team. You’ll play an important role in bringing comfort to our furry patients and ensuring the cleanliness and smooth running of our facility. One of the most important Veterinary Assistant responsibilities is to ensure all areas are clean, for animals and humans alike. Janitorial duties include but are not limited to: laundry, sweeping, dusting, mopping, window washing. Do you love cats? Then you’re halfway there. You need the ability to care for them properly. Veterinary assistants also care for boarding cats in our Cats Only Hotel in Boise. This requires readiness and compassion to care for nervous or scared animals that might occasionally lash out. If you’re organized, quick on your feet, and have the stomach to help with the clean-up of all pets' bodily fluids, we’d like to meet you. Assistants will work in both our Meridian and our Boise vet hospitals as needed.
