After 60 days of employment, we show you the books so you know exactly what you are making, and what the company is making. Alternatively, we also are offering $750 weekly to the right candidate. Essentially, the more you make us, the more you get paid, Weekly and Quarterly. Quarterly Net Revenue is like getting a bonus every few months based on how much money you make the company in that time. A couple of notes to take about the job: We have a 4-day 40 hour work week and a 50-hour 5 day work week position that needs filled. We (Royal Grounds Mowing LLC) are a small business that is growing in Westerville, Ohio. We service Westerville, New Albany, and Alum Creek areas as well as Gahanna. We are looking for the right candidate to run as a solo mowing operator while we attempt to add on another route and additional lawn care services. The right candidate can have plenty of potential in the coming years to earn a good income and obtain a steady job as well as move up in the company as it grows and franchises next year. That said, a clean criminal record and driving record, as well as a good work ethic and attitude are essential for the position. Some key details about the job: *We do NOT "Mow and Go" *You have to know how to feather trim (meaning not browning out the grass when trimming) *How to float the deck on zero turns around rough terrain *How to make 3-point turns and NOT turn up the lawns *Pay attention to your surroundings while you work We work in Middle-Upper class neighborhoods and hold our work to a higher standard. Potential candidates need experience: *Using zero turn (eXmark, Toro) *Push mowers *Trimming *Steel blade edging *Blowing off the finished product *General attention to detail. *Clean driving record and valid Drivers License are a must. *Ability to follow routes that have been optimized for you *Drive an 18ft dual axle trailer (open, soon to be trailer-less setup) *Log completed properties daily *Take note of any equipment fixes that are needed as well as keeping a professional personal appearance daily. Jeans, shorts, proper footwear (work shoes or work boots, no sneakers, etc.), and non-offensive shirts are acceptable work attire. Company shirts and sweatshirts will be provided starting next season. Ability to mow professionally is a MUST: *Knowing how to stripe multiple yards together or separately *Changing up the stripes weekly *Keeping grass out of the beds *Double bordering *Mowing fast food establishments One month trial period The owner will be working with you to ensure understanding of the route and duties associated with the properties. After one month, we will reassess your pay based on performance. Year-end percentage bonus based on performance and time worked offered. Route consists of mostly residential properties and some commercial, and many of the properties are put on specific days to minimize travel times and increase productivity. Most properties are in the Westerville area. Must be able to decipher weeds from plants. We do not require nor do we intend to require any Covid vaccine for the position offered.
