This job is for someone who is in excellent health and is used to physical work. Your position here will normally require of you on any given day, TO MOVE (BY HAND) multiple pallets of flooring materials. Deliveries are made up of pallets consisting of items that weigh thirty to eighty pounds apiece. Hand trucks are provided, but they are not always useful because of the varying types of terrain to be negotiated which will often include stairways. These deliveries will be required regardless of the weather.
The hours of our typical work week are between 40 and 45. Any hours worked beyond 40 are paid at 1.5 x the going rate.
You must have;
a valid Virginia drivers license,
safe driving habits,
a professional presence and appearance; jeans/khakis, steel toe shoes, no baggy pants. Yes, and a shirt
a good attitude,
the willingness and ability to play well with others.
must take direction with a can do attitude.
