Description

Responsibilities: • Compare identifying information and counts, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the work area • Clean computer equipment with air compressor and basic cleaning/sanitizing solutions • Pack computer equipment into cartons for outbound shipments • Maintain all proper safety requirements including, but not limited to, use of back support belts, proper lifting techniques and operation of equipment • Affix shipping labels on packed cartons identifying shipping information on cartons • Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers • Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications • Load pallets of equipment onto outbound LTL trucks Qualifications / Education: • Ability to operate forklift preferred • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s • Must have the ability to use and understand shipping and receiving computer software • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds • A minimum of high school graduate or equivalent required • Six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Skills: • Verbal and written English communication skills; interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships • Strong attention to detail • Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting Insight Investments, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, status as a Veteran or other protected classification.
