Bass player looking to play honky tonk

Hello. I am looking for a group of people to play old school honky tonk with. I have years of experience playing full time. I quit the road to focus on my small kids at home. I’m missing playing gear days. I play upright and electric. I have a lot of interest in playing roots styles that blend into ho my tonk as well, Cajun, old time, Tex-mex, possibly bluegrass and regional fiddle styles. I play rhythm guitar and other guitar like instruments as well. Not looking to get too serious unless it’s the right fit. Kind of looking for folks like myself that have put in the time with music and are focusing on building things for the future outside of music but still wanna play at a high level for sanity and fun.
