A word to all Seattle area musicians/bands

I would think that with the pandemic and increasingly shrinking club scene that Seattle area musicians would have shed their flakiness and respond promptly regarding the ads they put out. But, NOPE. It’s the same flakiness from people who put in the effort to post the ads and then disappear when people contact them. Or when they reply to an ad and a brief exchange happens and the responder ceases communication. And for the record, I have done it in the past myself. I’m not perfect. But this year, 2021 C.E., I have been making a concereted effort to respond to ads posted (with no reply) and to reply to my own ad I’ve posted (with one or two interested parties who cease communicating after one or two emails). I don’t know what goes on with other people’s lives, and frankly, I don’t care. YOU put the ad out. Follow through. YOU reaponded ro my ad. Don’t disappear. It’s all on YOU. Otherwise, don’t waste anybody’s time!
