We are hiring for help in our booth at Awesomecon at the Walter E Washington Convention Center 8/19-8/22.
We are looking for energetic people that might enjoy some time at a comic convention.
You would be helping with booth set up, assisting customers during show hours, and then helping with booth tear down after the show closes on Sunday. We pay $100/day plus an extra $25 for assisting with tear down after the show ends. (Sunday has longer hours, as we have to take the booth down and load out)
You will be paid in full on Sunday at the end of shift.
Who we are looking for:
- Friendly, energetic people who are good with STANDING ALL DAY
- People able to bend and lift boxes up to and around 25 pounds
- People comfortable with talking to other people (you will be helping sell product)
- Must be able to get back and forth to Convention Center
- Must be available to work all days
- Must be willing to adhere to indoor masking guidelines set by the city and convention center
Dates and Hours: (Subject to change based on hall hours and staffing needs)
THURSDAY, 8/19 -- 8:30 AM – 6 PM
FRIDAY,8/20 -- 9 AM - 8:30 PM
SATURDAY, 8/21 -- 9 AM - 7:30PM
SUNDAY, 8/22 -- 9 AM - ???(tear down starts directly after show close)
