Description
Our future together was so bright, cut so awfully short, and it's all my fault. We only met a couple of days ago, but I knew we were going to be near-constant companions for years to come. So many adventures were destined for us: hiking, fishing, boating, running through fields with the puppy. We were going to wander over mountains, through valleys, along the beach, and row across rivers and lakes. Alas, I lost you two days after buying you. The night threatened rain, so I thought I'd bring you to the movie theater, a place I love that I hadn't visited since this pandemic began. I ordered a drink far too large, and had to pee so badly by the end of Free Guy (which I hope you enjoyed as much as I did!) that I forgot to grab you off the chair in theater 9. I'm so sorry for the adventures we'll never have together. It's tearing me up inside that we've been torn apart. I'm holding onto that one tiny piece of hope that we'll be reunited, but if it isn't meant to be then I wish you years of good times, bad weather, and a grateful wearer.
