A small family owned manufacturing company is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and self-directed individual. This is a 40 hour a week position, working Monday – Friday 6am - 2:30pm. We are conveniently located in East Portland, close to the Max Blue line Summary of Duties: With safety and quality in mind, this individual will: Provide and document routine and preventative maintenance. Perform general maintenance and handyman work ie basic plumbing, fixture replacement, troubleshooting, light switches, appliance installation and porter duties. Perform building maintenance and repairs ie painting, and exterior maintenance. Work with COO to establish daily maintenance workflow priorities and complete any special property projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and stand for 8 hours per day. 1 year of maintenance and repair experience or a combination of years in higher education and experience desired. Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
