NEED IMMEDIATELY! Opportunity to make up to $15 per hour, paid cash for set up and weekly for longer term, supporting rug department at retail location during Store Closing Sales, starting immediately, with opportunity for longer-term work. The Rug Department Helper will help with unloading merchandise, merchandise preparation and staging, outbound shipments and helping Sales Manager show product to customers. An essential function of this position is the ability to lift and move fifty pounds in weight to maintain flow and replenishment of merchandise. Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements • Unloads merchandise for rug department • Will unroll and set up rug stacks as directed by manager • Responsible for cleanliness of interior and exterior of Rug Department as well as the showroom area • Responsible for executing all safety protocols related to the Rug Department • Moves inventory including rugs on the showroom to support sales personnel in presentation to customers • Carries merchandise to and from Customer’s vehicles as needed • Helps ensure Rug Department is organized and clean. • Treats people with respect and keeps commitments. Inspires the trust of others. • Works ethically and with integrity. Upholds organizational values Required Skills: • Ability to lift 50 lbs. • Ability to move heavy objects (up to 700lbs) with proper equipment • Excellent communication skills • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above Will help set up and work at SEARS RUG DEPARTMENT, RALEIGH, NC.
