A local drywall repair company is looking to hire 2 or 3 patch man part-time and full-time. The business has been growing and we're in need of skilled workers. You'll need to meet these requirements to qualify for the position. 1. You'll need to fill out 1099 paper before you can start working with us. 2. You'll also need to fill out a subcontractor packet with all the info and waivers needed to qualify. 3. You need all the tools needed to hang drywall, tape, and bed as well as a texture rig like a hopper for new installs and repairs. 4. Reliable transportation. Gigs are all around DFW and you'll need to be able to travel without any issues. When you respond please include good contact information for a callback. I can't stress enough about having all the tools you'll need for hanging drywall as well as finishing. A texture rig is required because all the repairs we do require to match or shoot a new texture. All the work I bid on comes with a 1-year warranty and that requires us to have good quality on all work performed no exceptions. This is not a train to the work position. Only individuals who are experienced patch man need to apply. All others will be declined. The pay will range from $150 to $180 per day with hours from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, Or 18hr to 22hr for 8hour workdays. All materials will be provided prior to the gigs or you'll pick up materials before starting gigs that the company will pay for. You as the subcontractor will only be supplying the labor. In the first gig, you'll work with the owner of the company so he can verify you have the tools and experience to work on future gigs by yourself. Once he signs off you'll begin taking gigs by yourself. The position rewards hard workers with more pay maxing out at $180 per day. Most gigs are 1-day gigs.
