Solid, highest level amateur (okay, a pro if you take into account I’ve played out for years in top venues and gotten paid for it, but music isn’t how I make my day-to-day). I’ve jammed and played gigs with some of the best pro blues musicians in the Chicagoland area and beyond and can more than hold my own. Ready and anxious to commit to a new long term project,but I’ll also do sub work or share a full time position. Though primarily a blues oriented pocket player, I’ve covered rock/southern rock/classic rock, Motown/Stax, and, most recently, a bunch of pop/party and what’s politely being called “New Country” No death, metal, thrash, or similar and sorry, but I don’t sing at all. Mature, reliable, and dependable to a fault. No bad habits, I try to avoid drama, and ( so I've been told) a very small ego. I have the best in professional equipment and combine it with an easy-going yet professional attitude and demeanor. I show up to rehearsals on time and always prepared, and to gigs early.
