Southwest Products is looking for an independent, driven individual to join our team in Surprise, AZ as a Paint Specialist. Pay Range: DOE ***Schedule M-F, 4:30 AM - 1:00 PM*** Willing to Train technicians with the right skill set and background Primary Essential Job Duties: Performs general paint prep, sanding, masking, minor body work, sandblasting and applying bed liner. Pulls, mixes, and packages paint products to the highest level of company standards. Transposes and inputs information for paint orders to associated paint equipment, producing correct paint need(s) of customer. Labels, tags, and wraps end products in preparation of delivery to customer; meets readiness expectations. Runs and operates all paint equipment and software programs effectively including, tinters, shakers, and any other equipment designated for Paint Fulfillment. Assists with color matching, quality control, or any other solution needed to maintain exceptional customer service. Keeps all paint equipment clean and operating correctly in accordance with operation manuals. Maintains a clean, safe working station which includes abiding by all OSHA safety standards & wearing proper PPE. Discards all unused or returned paint where applicable. Has a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance. Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Respectfully takes direction from Production Supervisor. Performs a variety of complicated tasks, as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience in an automotive or industrial equipment paint shop.
