On Time Staffing is looking for Production Supervisors at our client's bakery warehouse in Philadelphia, PA! Hiring immediately! Starting pay rate: $20-30 per hour Benefits of working with us: Working with an established company Healthcare Accident Insurance & Employee Assistance Programs 401K Retirement Plan Free baked goods Weekly Pay Shifts: Multiple shifts available Job Description: Maintain an environment that promotes employee and food safety awareness Lead a production crew and assist in line set up Prepare and assist in regulatory and customer inspections Focus on waste and downtime reduction opportunities and increase efficiency Manage collection of production data – runtime, downtime, waste and yields Operate to Quality and Production standards; recommend improvements Maintain proper morale and teamwork Control inventory Trouble-shoot problems Conduct employee performance evaluations and discipline Coordinate with other departments when necessary – Sanitation, Receiving, Other Production Lines, Shipping, and Maintenance Job Requirements: Prior bakery supervision experience preferred, prior manufacturing supervision required Ability to work all shifts and Saturday, current schedule 4 ten hour days with 2 shifts, AM and PM Knowledge/experience in FDA, USDA, and food plant operations and safety Awareness of pest control in a food plant environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish a plus Position is subject to manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution environment which includes proximity to moving parts and exposure to heat, odors, and noise; requires standing, walking, reaching above shoulder level, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; requires flexibility regarding start-times and the number of hours to be worked daily The position is salaried exempt, not qualifying for overtime pay.
