42 year old punk rocker type, into playing acoustic guitar, sleeping at a decent time, and telling people to stay on the trail at the park. Looking to start a street punk rock and roll type of thing. Think Social D meets some Brass Tacks. Or TMF meets Hank Snow. Or Bad Religion meets Robert Earl Keen. I've been influenced a lot by Pretty Boy Thorson (now the Slow Death), Hank Williams, Oxymoron, Bonecrusher, Noi!se, Knucklehead, Evil Conduct, Two Cow Garage, Waylon Jennings, Lucero, Texas country (i.e. Reckless Kelly, Steve Earle). Also, Godflesh had a huge impact on me. As did Slayer. Here are some songs I recorded about 10 years ago. I don't/can't sing like Lars Frederickson anymore, so that's a bit different. I'm laid back and don't party and don't have kids so I can dedicate a fair amount of time and energy into a band. Looking to do something committed and fairly serious, but focused on creating fun and exciting music. See, I moved up to Madison in June of 2019 and was all excited to start a band after I finished my degree, only the pandemic kind of screwed that up. I had been stuck in Abilene Texas for 8 years and that place is a black hole of creativity, and I was totally excited to get something going when I got up here, only two years later I'm still trying to find people because, well, coupled with the pandemic I'm kind of a recluse. Anyway, if you're cool a little older and want to start a cool punk-ish type band, hit me up. Keith
