ARV Maintenance Tech
Water Management; Lift Station Maintenance Division
Grade A138; Hiring Range: $38,168.00 - $41,287.00
The Lift Station Maintenance team has a vacancy responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure proper functioning of air relief valves (ARV) on sewer force mains. The functioning of these valves is essential to lift station performance. Cross-training on the operation of sewage lift stations will also be provided for stand-by/recall duty and response to lift station emergencies.
Must be reachable by phone and subject to week-long stand-by/recall for emergency response. You must be competent using software and tablets for record-keeping and communications with all levels of staff.

This role provides semi-skilled labor, working in partnership with their supervisor and co-workers, and requires interpersonal skills with the ability to step in for supervisor as needed; exercising professional and safe behavior at all times.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class C Driver’s License
• Minimum 2 years of field or industrial maintenance experience
Additional Preferred Skills:
• B-CDL w/Tanker and Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain within 9 months of hire
• Experience in a municipal or water/sewer authority
