You’ve got the talent, the sound, and you’ve built or are building a great set list and getting it down tight. Now you just need a lead singer to step in and REALLY entertain the crowd. Someone to get the crowd ON THEIR FEET! dancing and having a great time! That’s where I come in! I spent a respectable amount of time in a rock/metal band in the 80s and I still have the pipes and stage presence. Please note: I’m an entertainer as much as a singer. My job is to ensure “ASSES IN SEATS” and that people have A GREAT TIME! I managed a band out of Baltimore in the 2000s (while I sold myself to the corporate world in order to raise my two sons 🤪). I know what Bookers expect, what they need. So stop fooling yourselves with your jeans and t-shirt production! Sorry, but someone has to nudge you 😃 I’m looking for a band that wants to play out often. Become a SoCal favorite for WEDDINGS, bars, and events. I play acoustic guitar but only want to focus on the vocals and entertaining when fronting a band. Stirring up the crowd! I’m over 50 but I DON’T appear as your average 50 year old. Fortunately/unfortunately, when you meet me you’ll realize I look like I should be in a 60yr old boy band. And that has become an issue auditioning with bands my age. If you don’t want a frontman that will attract older women to come out and dance and have a great time (and therefore attract older men to come out and meet those women) then I’m not the frontman for you! And you need a lesson on wealth demographics! I have video of me playing acoustic and singing on YouTube at Surrender Autumn. Warning! The songs you will find at Surrender Autumn are NOT the kind of songs I expect to play in a wedding/bar band. I chose them merely to busk and play open-mics then threw them up in YouTube. They are songs that work well with a single voice and an acoustic guitar on the streets. Hey! Busking is a blast and I love a good challenge. I have a song list in mind but I’m open to what other band members have to offer. If you want to hear me sing a greater variety of songs you’ll have to audition me or meet me for a karaoke night 😃 and yeah, watch how I move a crowd! I learn songs fast! Give me your entire awesome Wedding Band/Bar Band set list and I will choose 5-7 songs to have ready to audition within a week (I prefer no over played Journey or otherwise overly emasculating cry-baby songs). If we agree to work together then I will eat and sleep the remaining set list until we’re ready to gig in a short time. Serious inquiries only.
