As a key contributor of the Operations team, this individual will work side by side with his/her team while ensuring their success in meeting the company goals of First-class customer service, safety, efficiency, on-time production, and unrivaled quality of products and services. Specific responsibilities include: Monitoring and directing the work of 6-10 team members of your assigned work area Daily training and coaching of our team members including documenting and performance management. Communicating with Operations Management on staffing and personnel issues. Working and communicating with Engineering team to ensure equipment in your assigned area are running efficiently and at full capacity Ongoing review and improvement of safety programs as they relate to your assigned area including reporting and documenting safety concerns, Keeping well-versed on industry trends and standards through training and networking Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree preferred. High school diploma or GED required. At least 3 years of production or manufacturing experience, preferably in a related industry A leader with demonstrated success in team building, preferably in a diverse population where English is a second language. Ability to speak another language such as Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Chinese preferred. The ability to supervise activities of his/her assigned work area as well as pull up his/her sleeves to perform production work. Must have sense of urgency, flexibility and ability to make quick but thorough and thoughtful decisions. Must have basic computer skills Must have eye-hand coordination with ability to stand and walk throughout shift Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., push and pull carts and slings.
