Seen running the area on 8/12/21 but caught early morning 8/13/21 Very friendly. Gets along with all ages in our family. Well behaved for car rides and walking on a leash. Appears to be an outdoor dog that is at times let inside (does not do well crated). Keeping him separate from my dogs so unsure his temperament with other dogs. He looks healthy (and hefty) and socialized (recognizes some commands and listens when I say NO). Would love to get this big baby back home to family. I would think he is missed. He is a sweetheart (though I can see him can be a handful at times haha)! I am keeping him safe and loved. He has already gone on car rides looking for you. He went to the vet to get scanned for a chip. No luck. He has gone in the pet store to get a massive bag of food for him and the family dogs. He also (hope this is ok…) even went through the Starbucks line and ordered his own puppacino. He was very patient and waited for me to offer the cup to him. He also has played a little soccer with an old beat up soccer ball he found. We have a lot of videos and pictures to share with you when you are reunited. Unfortunately, I am not sure of our ability to keep him long-term. We don’t have a lot of space and already have our hands full with human children and fur children. I am committed to keep him as long as possible, but going forward, I may need to find him a rescue, foster home, or permanent family. I am setting an appointment for shots. Once the legal hold period has passed, I may look to have him neutered to help combat his interest in escaping to chase females. I will give ample time (possibly mid-September) for his family to find him in case he has been left intact for breeding. However, I know he will have a better chance to find a permanent, loving, safe home if neutered. Please let me know if you believe this is your missing dog.
