Sorry but your rendition of events won't sell. Trump negotiated a deal with the Taliban for removal of our troops based on conditions that if not met by them would nix the deal. The actions taken by the Taliban now would have caused swift, immediate and brutal retaliation by US forces, the Taliban would never have penetrated into the interior of Afghanistan as they have with Biden. Everyone but you seems to know that our withdrawal was backasswards. First you remove all civilians including Afghanis who worked with us and want to leave Then you remove embassy staff and contractors Lastly you remove our troops Biden did the exact opposite which has threaten the lives of 10's of thousand and embarrassed the US around the world for the next 50 years. What Biden did was completely amateurish and confirms the fact he has been wrong on every foreign policy decision he's ever made. Even the liberal suck up press can't ignore his idiocy, hiding at Camp David is a loser's move! Afghanistan is not in the Middle East, you need a geography lesson. Trump promised to pull our troops out of Afghanistan. He chickened out. Instead, he tried to make a "deal" with the Taliban. That's a bit like making. deal with Hitler. The Taliban told Trump what he wanted to hear nd then blew him off. Trumps attempt to pull our troops out of Afghanistan was a huge fail. Biden's plan to pull our troops out of Afghanistan did not go as expected. But this tragedy rests squarely on the shoulders of the Afghan government and Afghan military. The Afghan government fled the nation. the Afghan army did not fire a single shot trying to protect tuber own country. The Afghanis behavior during this incident is proof that the U.S. should have never been. there. we have been protecting people who are un willing g to fight for themselves for 20 years. Bush's Afghan war is an absolute failure. Despite ether mess over there right now, I support Bidens decision to pull out. What happens in the Middle East is none of our business.
