Position Summary:
As a Driller's Assistant, you will be responsible for working in varied weather and environmental conditions alongside the drill crew chief in the operation of drilling equipment to drill holes in the soil to determine soil type and characteristics. If you’re reliable, have a good work ethic, and can cooperate with co-workers and clients respectfully, this is the position for you.
Job Responsibilities:
Your day as a Driller's Assistant will be both challenging and rewarding. During which, you have the opportunity to create lasting relationships with your team members. On a typical day, you can be expected to:
Travel to various job sites in a company provided vehicle
Assist the drill crew chief with any needs relating to the drilling operation
Communicate with various field personnel and colleagues
Required Qualifications:
Experience working outdoors
Experience working in a labor intensive environment
Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record and ability to drive for 2+ hours to job sites
Ability to bend over, torque back, stand for long periods of time
Must be at least 18 years old for entry onto job sites, must be able to lift up to 75 pounds (lbs) repeatedly
Ability to read and write, ability to use a computer
