Voice workshop to find the natural voice within. Perform in front of your peers and get professional feedback to improve your artistry. This Community Group Voice Workshop aims to provide world class voice lessons for male singers in the New Haven area to give back to the community. From diction, voice production technique, classical and pop styles to performance, you can recieve guidnce from our SUPER STAR teacher Jimmy Chen. The workshop is separated into three sections, male 13yr+, female 13yr+ and children under 13. If you are male, please sign up for the Thursday section. If you are Female 13 yr +, please sign up for the Wednesday Section. There are ONLY 4 limited spots per workshop. Price is determined by however much you would like to donate, even if it is one dollar In this group workshop, singers practice different vocal exercises to warm up their voices and develop correct vocal techniques. Then each singer will each get 15 minuets to perform desired music and recieve professional feedback on performance and technique. Each singer must bring piano sheet music or instrumental backing track for their performances. Jimmy graduated Berklee College of Muisc and has been a voice teacher helping students achieve their artistic goals for years. He studied under the philosophy of speech level singing and Cornelius. He belives that the goal of good singing is to free our vocal cords to naturally respond to our mental concept. A great singer is a singer who can vocalize the ideas he has in his head.
