The Spirited Sole Garden is an oasis for sneaker lovers/wearers and cocktail enthusiasts who love great music and donating to good causes! Charismatic Creations presents the Spirited Sole Garden! Join us for cocktails for a cause!We're taking over Spritz by Serenata for an outside block party! Wear your favorite/flyest sneakers, dance to great music by DJ Nah Fr, and sip on crafted cocktails & zero-proof beverages with ingredients from local Black and Brown farmers! You can also sit & enjoy food by Serenata. Proceeds from the bar will be used to purchase and donate new shoes to local organizations (Bread for the City & Martha's Table) for people who need them! American agriculture was built on the backs of Black farmers. But farmers of color – and especially Black farmers – have experienced a long history of discrimination. Over a century, black farmers were stripped of 80% of their farmland, amounting to millions of acres and hundreds of billions of dollars in lost wealth. This staggering loss didn’t happen by accident: it’s the result of decades of government-sanctioned discrimination. By highlighting the Black/Brown farmers in our region, we hope people will become more intentional & start to purchase from them! 66% of most foot health issues are prevalent in impoverished communities because they don't have the means to purchase shoes that fit or are able to keep their shoes dry. By donating new shoes to these organizations, we hope to decrease these health issues in our community! FREE RSVP for the event!
